MRO Family Office

A single-family office, built for the long term

MRO Family Office is the private single-family office surrounding Morten Reimers, his family, their ownership interests, operating groups, investments, governance and long-term legacy.

It serves one family. It does not manage money for third parties, does not offer financial services, and does not seek clients. Its purpose is continuity: keeping ownership coherent, decisions considered and responsibilities clear across time.

The work is quiet by design. Most of it concerns structure, alignment and preparation rather than transactions.

Mandate

What the family office does

01

Ownership and strategic direction

Coordinates the family's ownership interests and sets the strategic direction that operating groups and investments are measured against.

02

Governance and succession

Supports governance structures, decision-making frameworks, succession planning and the thoughtful preparation of the next generation.

03

Alignment of capital and companies

Aligns investment activity with the operating companies, so that capital, industrial capability and relationships reinforce one another.

04

Institutional knowledge and values

Preserves institutional knowledge, reputation and the family's values — the parts of an enterprise that are hardest to rebuild.

05

Coordination of professional advisers

Coordinates independent legal, tax, audit and estate advisers. The family office does not provide these regulated services itself.

Continuity

Family and the next generation

A family office is ultimately about people. Preparation matters more than instruction: understanding ownership, responsibility, stewardship and the obligations that accompany what a family has built.

For reasons of privacy and security, no personal details of family members are published on this website.

Boundaries

Independence of operating companies

Each operating company retains its own brand, management and commercial independence. MRO Family Office acts as owner and steward — it does not trade under the names of the businesses it holds, nor does it speak for their commercial activities.
